Lustrous large dishes, vases, lamp bases, mugs and jugs. Ethereal pieces that make a cup of coffee special, make a meal a work of art, and give the lamp in the corner a mysterious sparkle. Work that's influenced by my love of colourful iridescence found in peacock feathers, butterflies, coral reef fish and opalescent shimmering blue water.

I am not retiring; but I no longer wish to make production pottery, to have full time apprentices, or to sell at Ceramic Shows. This is why I'm putting all my stock (old and new) up for sale this Christmas, from my pottery in Great Hallingbury.

Moving forwards - I will be looking at what I can do for the environment and climate change, and have started by reclaiming an ancient kitchen garden which now boasts over 30 no-dig raised beds. And for my ceramics - I will be keeping all my equipment, continuing my teaching, and looking forward to what else I can make when the studio is clearer.

I will keep my
web shop active for another year, and have not finished with clay yet!
